Price Momentum Model

Price Momentum, introduced in August 1991, is a near-term stock price performance indicator with most performance occurring in the following month to quarter.

Price Momentum looks for companies with good twelve-month performance that have based or corrected in the last quarter and especially in the last month.

Stock Split Indicator

The Stock Split Indicators, introduced in June 1996, measure the size of stock dividends and/or splits compared to the end of the prior month (SPM) and the end of the month six months ago (SPH). A factor of 1.0 indicates no dividend or split, 1.10 would indicate a 10% stock dividend and 2.0 would indicate a 2 for 1 stock split.
